The mount—plus the hook-and-loop fastener—are not meant to be removed regularly. If you want to take the mobile off for an extended period, we recommend pulling the mobile rod from the mount. If you need better access to your baby, you can swing the mobile out of the way when needed.
When you are ready to remove the mobile’s mount from SNOO for the long-term (perhaps you are packing up SNOO until your next baby arrives!), you can remove the tape from the underside of SNOO. Next, hold onto the mobile mount on the portion that attaches to SNOO. Gently extend the mount downward to release the bottom of the mount from SNOO’s platform, and pull the mount off of SNOO.
